As for the Heardles today, the 60s were once again my downfall. Hasn't a clue so I went for a repeat offender and guessed the wrong one !🙄
70s and 80s I got straight away.
70s is instantly recognisable and if you didn't get the 80s straight away you definitely would after just 1 skip.
So those of you who are off today spare a thought for those working. Charlie seems to be working 24/7 And Major Hotlips isn't far behind him.

The 70s and 80s suited my memories best.
I didn’t recognise the 60s song until I heard the singer’s voice and the beginning of a lyric. I can’t remember hearing that version too many times before, if ever. Sorry, artist.
Growing up, I had a John Lennon cover of this song on cassette. It would look like this, kids.
The album contained cover versions of rock ’n’ roll classics. It had a complicated legal backstory. Today’s song was part of a medley with a Little Richard song. Back in those days if you wanted to discover a song’s history, you couldn’t run to YouTube or Wiki and listen to The Animals' cover from 1965 or Otis Redding’s version with Carla Thomas which John Lennon apparently loved. The internet is the greatest library in the history of man, so now we can, and so I learned something today.

I guessed the singer for the 60’s on the last skip and Heardle gave me 6 options. I picked the right one because I was pretty sure it wasn’t Cupid, Chain Gang, Wonderful World, A Change Is Gonna Come or Twistin’ the Night Away. So it was like a Participation Award but I still had to do a bit of work 💪
I got 70’s straight away but had to wait for the whistle skips to end to get the 80’s. So basically we’re all tied 😉 No need for a count back. All winners 👏🏆😂
