Aw if you guess without even listening to the first skip Heardle displays it as 1 skip. From the Major’s 80s clue I guessed the band without listening and when Heardle only offered one song I was home free. If I had listened, the first skip was familiar, the whoo was familiar but neither would’ve been enough for me to guess correctly and the rest I wouldn’t have connected with the chorus. I can’t hear any link between the intro and chorus. Thanks Major.
70s totally suited me. Heaven. 😍
60s almost suited me but it was misleading. It was naggingly familiar but I couldn't place it. It starts possibly kinda funky—that’s misleading—and makes us wait until skip 3 to give us the second chord. The orchestral bit saved me from needing the sure-fire singing. Kinda disappointed but if you can’t place it, you can’t place it.

70's I needed a couple of skips and felt a little shafted by my memory because I should have known it straight off especially given that Sugar Tits showed me how to drum the intro! The guitar is damn sexy 😍
So basically I was neck and neck with Barney until the 80's beat me! I know their more famous song and that's about it 😂

Almost identical result as yesterday, once again tinged with embarrassment .
60s like yesterday I had to skip to the vocals at the end. Then it was a matter of typing in the artist and choosing the only track that I was unfamiliar with .
70s, again like yesterday I had 1 skip I think this time til the keyboards join in.
80s Christ why am I getting all the cheesy 80s tracks with no skips. Oh and not a SAW production this time at least Margaret.
Trying to do today’s without reading the Major’s clues. Hope I don’t shag it up.
60s was weird. I think it may be famous but I don’t know it that well and wouldn’t be able to sing too much of it but because the pattern is repeated so many times all through the song it’s doable. It’s not the kind with an intro with no connection to the rest that always throws me. Also, I think it’s the third time the band have featured.
70s, the guitar comes in just after the first skip. The song is a classic but I didn’t immediately recognise it without the guitar. So, today’s song, the one I liked best I didn’t get. Close but no
80s could be got in one skip as the whoahs have just about started but I needed a few more to be sure. Don’t think we’ve had the band before but we mentioned them in connection with New Edition and bands put together by producers.
