Think you won the Heardle tonight, Barney. The rest of us seem to be pretty tied. Well done 👏😊

Goodnight everyone 🤗

I needed the singing for the 70s and 80s so my score is very beatable today. 70s is obvious in hindsight but I started off thinking along the wrong lines. 80s, everyone knows the artist but the intro notes weren't really familiar to me. "Come on Eileen, you can do better than that!"

Well you beat me anyway Major.

60s, an absolute classic and instantly recognisable.

70s I should have got but didn't. 🙄

80s I did do 1 skip and got it before the singing started.

So 1.7/3 for me !

60s & 80s I knew immediately, but 70s one I hadn't a clue, but when I saw the answer I was kicking myself as it's from a brilliant movie.

Yes, me and Margaret have won for the girls' team 🏆😍 We’ll say no more about the 70’s that I wouldn’t have got on my own or that I thought Kenny Rogers was some Bonnie Tyler song that I haven’t heard of until dude started singing 🤣🤣

Goodnight everyone 🤗

Start was number one on this day 1980 but L wants to hear A Town Called Malice. So, in honour of the winning team's choice, even though we are all a team and therefore all winners... 🤗

Well firstly congratulations to the ladies on yesterday's results !👏🏻👏🏻

Not a great day for me todsy either.

60s I got after a few skips as I was more familiar with a 70s version of this song by a different band.

70s I needed 1 skip but then it's very obvious.

80s ? I actually almost got it by default as I had skipped to the end and had typed in a couple of letters for an artist and the actual answer was among the selection AND I STILL DIDN'T GET IT !🙄

80s intro too far removed, for me, from the well-known chorus. 1 chord but no chord sequence and a standard but kinda familiar beat for 16 seconds. Seconds 17-18 would make it recognisable but they’re not part of the Heardle intro. “Time to hand in your 80s card.”

Think I'll just keep dancing as if I haven't been called out on my 80s failing. 🤣 60s and 70s good fun. Penny dropped at the same rate as Brigadier Barney, I think. 🧐

I think you missed a bye there Lana. I probably won't be posting tonight as I'm sitting up at a wake here in Scotland.

60s I recognised the song but was confused in the same way that Barnabus was, as it's more recognisable as a 70s hit for a punk band.

70s I needed a couple of skips to get there, but 80s was immediately recognisable.

So you're ahead my arboreal friend, honestly would never have got the 80s intro.🌳

60’s grand. 70’s was nicely coincidental as we only had The Bandit on the TV thread the other day for Burt’s anniversary. 80’s hadn’t a bull's notion 😂
