And indeed you are correct Major, it was the last number 1 of the 70s in the UK but obviously was still in the charts in January.
And the first number 1 of the 80s ? The Petenders with Brass in Pocket.

Thanks, Hotlips. I think I've managed to get the 60s intro straightaway before, but never noticed "Legend of Xanadu"(Old age is a curse)
I recognised the 60s song but couldn't think of either the title or artist.
70s needed a couple of skips before I got it, but 80s was on the button.

Needed the vocals in the 60's because I wasn't sure if it was Dionne Warwick's version. If I'd stopped to think about it, I should have remembered the trumpets are higher in Dionne's version, so I should have been faster. Kicking myself! 70's, got the band once the vocals started and picked the option that wasn't Psycho Killer. Obviously, like 😂 80's straight in 😊

And I actually knew the artist and the song on all 3 for a change. I knew the 60s song yesterday but never would have got Sandie Shaw. Like Lois I has Dione Warwick in my head but I was going with Helen Shapiro - don't ask me why.
And the 70s I guessed the artist but didn't know the song.
So I'm kinda smug this morning but I'm guessing there will be a lot of clean sweeps today. 😉

I'm glad Charlie was able to fix it as I was struggling to figure out what ladies I had chosen originally. Decided to sleep on it, and pray for a miracle 🙏
