Knowing I’d likely have no clue from the first 2 seconds, I didn’t want to keep skipping and have only 1 guess at the end. So I tried guessing blindly. And repeatedly. Skipped once by mistake— old habits. After failing with Funkadelic, Isaac Hayes, Sly & The Family Stone and Heardle not offering anything for others like Chairman of the Board, I thought if not funk try soul, typed it in and took the only option Heardle offered. Because song and band were complete unknowns to me, as always, this doesn’t count. It’s not real quizzing. 🤘

Well I'm ashamed to say that the 60s track eluded me this morning. I did recognise the singer but I opted for the wrong (less well known) band and had unfortunately used up all my skips.

Needed the singing for the 60s so I wouldn't guess right band wrong song. Song wasn't really familiar to me and unlike Major Rocker I don't think I could name another band the singer was in—maybe I could and I just don't know it?
Needed the second chord for the 70s to be sure. 80s song was grand, but if I was told it was a 90s song, the first skip would've made me think of the main hook to Take That's Everything Changes. Funny how things blend into each other over the years.

Aw well good guesses, bad guesses, I know I've had my share.🙄
Playboy revamped their site and as a consequence all of our Playboy archive images disappeared. So we have 60 years worth of archive images to reinput. We’ve been taking turns doing shifts for the day and have 1954-1984 done.
Hopefully their revamping is done and we won’t have to repeat the dose again. But seeing as they lobbed 1983 Susie Scott
From the future back into 1960 Susie Scott’s place they may have some work to do yet. 🤷♀️
Thanks Major Rocker. I've heard of The Yardbirds and knew of their guitar connection with the 60s group but not The New Yardbirds or that they became the 60s band. Learning all the time. 👍
And here comes Lois, bringing up the rear, again 😂 60’s, I guessed the band and Heardle did the rest. 70’s, I could kinda hum along to it but kept wandering into Whiter Shade of Pale or Peter Frampton, or god knows, so let’s call that my Mulligan. 80’s, straight in 😎😊
