So that film was almost 30 years old when I was born and they still showed every Christmas when I was growing up !
At least with The Great Escape I could always hope that Steve McQueen would get the motorbike over the barbed wire this year but twas never to be.☹

The new Game of Thrones prequel The House of the Dragon starts tomorrow on Sky Atlantic.
I for 1 will be watching it. If it's anything like the original it will be worth the watch even if Barney does get a bit confused with so many character's being introduced. 🤔
