I don't know anything about it, BR but it sounds like audiences were confused and disappointed and that the explanation below has helped before launching into Season 4.

I have to wonder why an explanation video is required for any of these programmes.

I'm sure there are lots of people that will just enjoy it for what it is, and others that will hate it and give up after a couple of episodes.

Then there will be those that want to critique it seven ways till Sunday.
