Born OTD 1947. Michael (“Mick”) Fleetwood was born in Redruth, Cornwall. He’s best known as the drummer and co-founder of the rock-pop group, Fleetwood Mac. His surname was merged with that of the group’s bassist, John “Mac” McVie, to form the name of the band.
