7 November 1943. Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell was born in Fort Macleod, Alberta. She has won 9 Grammy Awards. In 1997, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She was described by Rolling Stone magazine as “one of the greatest songwriters ever”.
