70s was a bit niche. I heard a cover of it before I heard the original and was a bit slow on the uptake. I think it’s fair to say almost no one would have heard the song in the 70s especially seeing as it wasn’t actually released then. The singer was a member of an influential band that weren’t major sellers that Heardle put up before. We’ve noticed the pattern. The singer died in a car crash aged 27. Since it was released posthumously in the 1990s a number of influential bands have drawn attention to it.

A night of skips for me. Well I actually had hit the first skip for the 80s track when I guessed it so I probably could say no skips for that 1.
60s- Know the song but not familiar with the early part of the intro.
70s I needed the vocals to know the artist and then just picked the correct track.
70s suited me best. 80s was a massive struggle. The song has receded into the mists of time in my brain and if the singer’s voice hadn’t appeared in the last two seconds I was out for the count. Disappointed it didn’t all come back to me sooner but that’s brains and memories. You wouldn’t know what they’d be at.
I'd count your 80s as no skips - well done Major! Impressive as always. 60s I think we’ll all be the same.
