60s I got with no skips but I has to Google the lyrics that I knew in order to get the artist/song title .
70s is 1 of our favourite artists so I doubt if anyone will be needing a skip there.
80s I honestly can't say I've ever heard the song before. I actually guessed Altogether Now by the Farm but seeing as it wasn't there I just gave up.
60s is really famous but the name I had for it in my head is wrong. 70s as the major said. 80s ditto too. Just checked and it has 150 million views on YouTube so apparently it's popular but I don't have any recollection of ever hearing it. The title doesn't seem to be in the lyrics. And the song is so slow I can imagine slow dancers toppling over during the wait for the next beat to shuffle onto the next foot.

70s is another of my favourites so no problem there.
80s, I initially thought Whitesnake, but I was wrong. Skip to lyrics got me the artist, but I needed a couple of guesses to pick which song.

Not sure if I knew the 60’s song before all the movies it was in but I loved it in Tropic Thunder and in your movie Forrest 😍 70’s no mucho mistrust - it was a gas 🤗 I didn’t hear any lyrics in my 12 seconds of 80’s? You must know people who know people Forrest 😉 Lyrics wouldn’t have helped me anyway as I really don’t know the song at all. Sorry George. RIP. 😢

Lois or Lana were going to do the posting around tea time but seeing as they don't have too much free time and site is slow I've done it now during my lunch break. It's actually handy to have another activity while you're waiting for stuff to load. LH is back around 10.30 and I should be back around 11. Thanks for the offer of helping out but I'm not comfortable with anyone going through that kind of tedium.
Just did an update. It went fine but it doesn't seem to have made a difference yet. I guess it means there are some kind of attacks going on. Believe it or not the site gets 10-15000 visitors a month. Given that the site should be undiscoverable and have 5-10 unique visitors a month our figures are bananas. But popularity means problems. Having said that I'd guess it's more down to generalised attacks on the host server and websites like ours are collateral damage. Anyway, hopefully it'll be ok later. Sorry about this. As I can't go back and listen to yesterdays intros, all I can say is I heard lyrics, recognised George Michael's voice but not the tune, so Heardle's suggestions for GM lead me to a couple of songs I didn't recall, so I chose one of those. Lucky guess !!
Buffalo Springfield were on the soundtrack for my life & times??? I was obviously too busy living that crazy life to notice them in the background, or maybe they were doing their thing while I was doing mine
