Good night

Not a clue of the 60’s. Got the 70’s once the vocals kicked in. 80’s no skips needed. I call that a 1.5/3 😊😂

Goodnight everyone 🤗

Well I had to skip every decade tonight.

60s seemed familiar and it is a well known song but wouldn’t have got it unless the vocals had kicked in and as they’re immediately after the intro I failed miserably. ☹

70s and 80s both I had to use a few skips but didn’t need the vocals for the 80s. 70s I know the song very well but never would have got it from the opening chords.

And now I shall bid you all a good night .😴😴

Yikes. Was unfamiliar with the 60s intro although the singing when it comes in after that is well-known. Same as the Major on that and totally behind the Major on the 80s seeing as I didn't get it at all. The intro was familiar, especially around the third skip and the acoustic guitar but it was never going to come to me.

Well you were faster than me for the 70s anyway Major, I needed the vocals.

Kinda surprised myself that I got the 80s 1.

Apologies for the state of my new mug shot. I’d been feeding, as you do. I mean they could have let me give my face a wipe. Apparently it’s evidence or something. 😉😘

Could’ve been worse, I suppose.

Didn't know the 60s song even after the big reveal. 70s & 80s needed a couple of skips to get there 🤗

Another busy day. Too tired to think. Goodnight everyone 😴😴😴

I'm not surprised you got the 80s Major. Besides being a dab hand at them all you're the dabbest hand at the 80s—that must've been when you moved from the short trousers to the long pants for the slow sets. 😘

And that song was definitely a slow set song.

I know the Janis Joplin song but not the intro. 70's I got as soon as Marvin started singing. 80's I kinda know the chorus but the intro didn't mean much to me.

Goodnight everyone 🤗

Ah sure the youngsters now wouldn't even know what a slow set was Major.

Yeah long trousers by that stage alright. Those were the days !

Same as that Lois regarding the 60s and 70s.

I actually played the Janis Joplin version earlier today and the 2 versions are almost identical.

As for the 70s after a couple of skips I thought what's goin on ?

But then the vocals kicked in !

Well 3/3 tonight but I needed a few skips.

70a instantly recognisable so no skips there - classic tune !

60s I needed the vocals.

80s Well I did skip to the end expecting a change in the beat but it's basically repetition of the start do don't waste your time skipping.

I only had 1 answer from the off and luckily it was the correct 1.

Needed one skip for the 80s to get the choppy guitar chords and definitely rule out OMD’s Enola Gay or any other early 80s drum machine sounds in my head.

Think we had the 60s singer recently with an 80s hit when the singer was by then a solo artist rather than with their 60s band. Agree with the Brigadier that the 70s was instantly recognisable and to not use up more than one skip on the 80s as it’s just a repeat and cuts before the more instantly recognisable bit kicks in. Thanks Barney. 👍👍

60s I recognised the tune straightaway from a more recent release, and 70’s is just too well known to not get it immediately.

80s I skipped once just to be sure of the title (glad I didn’t need to know the artist  )
