Mixed bag today.
60s I know of the artist but never realised that they recorded this track. All I could think of was Pictures of Matchstick Men but I knew it wasn't the intro.
70s instantly recognisable.
80s I used 1 skip but selected the wrong track!😣 Realised my mistake and selected the correct answer without even playing it again.
So not a great morning overall. ☹
70s and 80s suited my memory best. 60s drove me nuts for forever but I didn’t want to give up after yesterday’s woeful result. I had never heard it before the ending of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. It’s a way rockier song than the intro and the last skip is the only hint of that. I think the fact that it was a cover is the only reason I got there in the end. I would have been kicked off any quiz for taking so long. 😅
I’ll post the clip in a bit on the Movie Thread. It’s totally gruesome. Obviously, it’s a spoiler for the song title. The band are only vaguely familiar to me.

Needed the first talky line to get the 80s. It had started on the first skip but someone wasn’t quick enough on the draw.
Heardle gave me the answer to the 70s when I typed in the singing on the first clip. At that stage my brain thought oh- this sounds familiar but after actually listening to 3 or 4 minutes of the 7-minute track it became apparent that I was totally kidding myself. I don’t know or I don’t remember it. Either way, scam. I think fooling myself was a case of there being so many harmonised acapella openings to tracks. 2/3 for me.
