Well after a long time I've managed 3/3 without any skips. Perhaps it's the 70s rather than the 80s I should be embarrassed about this time !😎
The 60s and 70s suited my memory best. The 60s song is on my desert island discs and the 70s is or was in the Guinness Book of World Records. Not sure if we had a post about it but it may have been passed by Wuthering Heights more recently?
I needed the second half of the opening riff to get the 80s.
Honey, that was the problem. Bet the Major won’t need the second skip.

The 60s and 80s suited my memory best. I was lost on the 70s until the fifth skip when the intro changed completely. I regret my exuberance in typing in the band at that stage. I was rushing. It's been a long day.
I’m not certain I’d have been able to name the song but the answer was obvious when Heardle offered two choices. It’s years since I heard it and the chorus was the only bit I was able to sing. 2/3.
