Cod Ha! Yes I used to go fishing on Lough Derg just to annoy those on the island fasting and eating dry toast but 1 fish kept swimming by my boat and I’d swear he was laughing at me cos I could never catch him .

For reasons of truth and justice I have to admit that the above story is totally fabricated.

I never caught a poor innocent defenceless fish on Lough Derg.

 

I’ve never actually ever caught a fish, unless 1 I bought in the chippy.

 

And I definitely have never ever been to Lough Derg.🙏🏻
