Indeed Major Houlihan and she was quite a dish too I might add ! Poor oul Buster, things never really went his way but at least he still had the girl at the end.😉

Sybil Seely was Buster Keaton’s co-star in One Week. The brilliant 1920 clip of Sybil breaking the 4th wall clip exemplified pre-code Hollywood.
After 1934 the bath scene would’ve been censored along with all the daring and progressive female roles that were emerging in the early 30s.
Independence was hobbled by stay-at-home puritanism.
Like Buster, Sybil performed all her own stunts. Born Sibye Trevilla, Sybil was from an athletic family featuring champion swimmers that had a Vaudeville background. The Trevilla Brothers toured the States and Europe with a stage act featuring Winks the Seal.
Seely’s stage name may have been a pun. Her first film role came in Her Nature Dance in 1917.
Sybil starred in 5 movies with Buster Keaton.
