Funny enough I was thinking about this version when posting about George Harrison on the other thread. This is possibly the first version I heard of the song but in fairness the original is like Jacob’s Cream Crackers.
And I know that I’ve probably posted here before that the best cover version of a Beatles’s song was Dear Prudence by Siouxsie and the Banshees . Well that’s my opinion anyway and having heard their version before the Beatles’s version I’d consider it much much better.
