Good night

Needed Barney's excellent clues for all three 😘

60's and 70's I would have needed the singing. 80's I would have needed a couple of skips.

The royalties from this cover that the Major mentioned gave Big Star's Alex Chilton his first new car in years when he was down on his luck. 🤗 Goodnight Privates. 😘

These suited. I can't think of clues for the 60s and 70s because the band names either have lots of words or lots of syllables.

I'm back with an edit.

The 60s band has 6 words about a nutty planet that exists in the mind of a Dudley Moore character.

The 70s band has 5 syllables and rhymes with a cordial drink brand.

The 80s song title shares its name with a musical where the performers bang on stuff like Pringle tins. Later honeybunnies. 😘

Yeah, the 80s was my downfall Major. Did the artist make talcum powder as well ?

60s this artist lives in a madcap universe but even they knew that there are some things you don't play with or you might get burnt.

70s is easy, this band was the result of the amalgamation of 2 bands, hence the 2 drummers. And no, it's not Adam and the Ants.

Only seeing your clues now Major, very cordial of you ! Did Dudley Moore know the priest played by Mark Williams?

The 70s song I got straight away even though it was cloudy last night  😉
