Lois. I posted the video from my mobile last night, not thinking about the “Thanks button” issue, and I’m surprised that non-mobile users can’t use it on text/video posts, as I could clearly see the thanks button from my laptop before I moved the video to a separate post.
NB: Charlie. The "half-assed" fix you mentioned was an improvement as, prior to that, videos with texts obscured the thanks button on my laptop, but now it doesn't. Don't blame the software, blame the hardware

Thanks, F. And thanks for trying it on both. It's the weirdest thing. In those instances since the improvement you can clearly see the thanks button but you can't actually click on it. I'll put a video here so you can see on your laptop. But I can going to stick with the improvement because it at least looks good...
I can't thank it, Charlie. I took a screenshot to show my mouse pointer wouldn't give me the hand grabber for liking. But it didn't come out! You'll get the idea though.
Not only that I couldn't even click on the reply below the post- I had to go back to the top of the page to use the reply from there. But I agree it looks way better so I vote let's keep it until we have something better. 😊
PS I can’t edit what I just posted either because Edit is in the Twilight Zone where things can’t be clicked under the video post too!
So maybe let's keep doing videos on their own and never speak of this madness again. 😅

I couldn't thank it from my laptop so I switched to my phone and it worked. Bloomin weird 🤗
