A few clues to follow.
60s I scammed from the opening lyrics. Don't think the song was about Lourdes but it's a bit late for miracles - last surviving band member died last week I think. Nothing to do with Smokey Robinson btw...
70s I should possibly have got sooner than 2 skips. And it's not about the Sheriff in Unforgiven.
80s, eh Hello ? Shoulda got this 1 straight off. But lack of sleep can do that. So I'm not gonna rave here all night long, time for some shut eye.

60s I guessed the song after 1 skip but not the artist. Don’t think it’s Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash or Kris Kristofferson.
70s I hadn’t a clue. Guessed the artist on the final skip but didn’t even bother attempting the correct answer. This artist has to be the most played artist on Heardle.
80s. Great Scott - think I'd prefer listening to Daniel O'Donnell than this shite! I knew was SAW crap immediately but couldn’t differentiate 1 track from another. Not even sure if I know this 1 at all. I do know the artist though.
So enough of my jive talking, gonna try and catch up with my sleep here. I might even dream - any kind will do but I'll probably get a nightmare. Goodnight/morning everyone!😉

Jive Talkin would just have been too much of a clue if it were the actual track Major. Just put that in there as a reference to the artist (Must be the most played artist here ?)

80's there were four choices, I knew it wasn't two of them and got it wrong on a 50-50 🤣
I phrased that back to front, Major 🤗 I meant that Jive Talkin' gave me the band—I knew there was no way that was going to be the song. 🤣
