I’ve been driving all night, my hands wet on the wheel. Might help explain why I didn’t recognise the 60s artist tonight. Or any track for that matter !
70s I recognised the artist from the percussion and guitar on the final couple of skips but really don’t know the song.
80s I know the song and the artist but not the intro.
Not a Smooth performance by any means. Maybe living on my own has addled my brain ? Even the Super Moon has abandoned me tonight. 0/3🙄

I've had problems with Heardle on a few occasions since my return last week, C, and again yesterday evening. Life is too short for me to be worrying about that, and the Generals, Majors, and Privates are doing a fine job anyway.

I recognised the lyrics straightaway, Major Houlihan, but I was slightly confused by Barney's post, as it's a 70s one hit wonder, and he seemed to suggest it was a clue to the 60s Heardle. Maybe I misunderstood his post because he's from "up north" 😉
