I think she moved to Cork in the early 70s and lived there for a number of years and has Irish citizenship as well as UK & US. 

I THINK - Can't be bothered googling. But I wasn't aware of the Charles Manson connection or her reasons for moving here. I do (once again) think that her mother was Irish.

She did seem to be a nice woman by all accounts and a shrewd business woman earning A LOT of money from Murder She Wrote and fair play to her for that.👏🏻👏🏻
