Yesterday’s blog refenced the rise of what’s often called LawTube or LegalTube on YouTube. Below is a good example of its potential value. Heard’s attorney is being interviewed on mainstream media. The questions are reasonably fair and not taking the audience for fools but the replies are not and are misinforming the audience. The video host is a trial lawyer and explains the attempt to hoodwink in terms of legal procedures and realities that Heard’s attorney can’t not know. We live in a world where we can access this information for free, if we take the time and effort to be informed. Avoiding mainstream misinformation can take us next door to conspiracy theory central but, in reality, there is a substantial amount of balanced and truthful information available to us.
If I were a member of the jury, after the case and wondering about the decision I’d been a part of, I’d be relieved if I came across this material.
