It’s tough for many alright, BR, especially smaller businesses. More could be done to help. But I’m not gloomy- I’m totally grateful for every day I remain in hospitality and not the hospital. Or worse. Every day we survive, I’m grateful to modern science for everyone I know who’s made it this far. I don’t want to lose anyone. Better times are ahead but only if we make it there to see them. Tomorrow I will wake up and go 'Christmas Eve- we made it- fuck yeah'!
Christmas Day I’ll be bringing dinner round to a few neighbours and that’ll be a bit more sombre because they’ve had things tougher than me and when I get home I’ll be kind of thinking fuck Christmas- it’s so hard for so many but hopefully I’ll come back round to this level at some point!
