Score looks way more impressive than the reality. Not sure how I would have fared without the Major’s hints. I was three-quarters confident of the 60s but I took the hint that it was an all time classic and chanced it. If I hadn’t gone with the first skip I would’ve had to wait until the fourth to be sure. I think that happened yesterday too. You could be confident on the first skip and then lose faith.
70s was pretty much recognisable straightaway but I was afraid of getting it wrong seeing as the Major put the pressure on by finding it instantly recognisable. 😮 80s I took from the hint that it was a SAW track and either who it turned out to be or Jason Donovan. 😂 And when I didn’t recognise the title I thought that has to be it. And it was. Another repeat artist. Thanks Heardle and the Major.

70s I totally fecked up. The intro did sound very familiar but I had to skip to the end til the singing started. Recognised the singer and then I thought mmm, maybe not .
Then I picked something totally obscure instead. Couldn't even tell you the song or the artist. I just typed in a few letters and picked the most obscure 1 that came up.
Now if I had have typed the artist I originally thought of I would have got it but there you go. I'll just put it down to lack of sleep.😴😴

Also today's 80s didn't start for the first second leaving a chord that briefly sounded like a Dearly Beloved We Are Gathered chord. Don't let that fool you Major Karaoke Queen—I won't offer any cryptic clues in case they get lost in translation.
